Located in Midtown, one of Atlanta, Georgia’s bustling and most fashionable neighborhoods, this two-in-one hotel, Crowne Plaza/Staybridge Suites offers comfort and ease for travelers, whether on business or vacation. Continental completely gutted and converted 150 of the original 510-room hotel into 102 suites, equipped with full kitchens and plenty of work and living space for the Staybridge Suites part of the renovation. The previously unused basement level of the hotel allowed for a dual lobby conversion, giving Staybridge Suites a completely separate entrance along with a new lobbies for both properties. The Crowne Plaza public area renovations included a redesigned bar and check-in area, as well as a new restaurant, meeting spaces, market and coffee shop. In addition, a two-story escalator was removed and replaced with a decorative grand, glass-sided staircase.
