Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the DoubleTree by Hilton, North Redington Beach Resort is conveniently situated on the sandy shores of Florida between Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach near Tampa. The property’s semi-private beach access, cabanas, outdoor pool, and tiki bar offer a relaxing and fun retreat for visiting guests.
Continental Contractors meticulously managed and executed a four-month renovation at the DoubleTree North Redington in the fall of 2023. The extensive transformation included several public spaces and 125 guestrooms that included the hotel’s Presidential Suite, which received special attention with the addition of new luxury vinyl tile in the entry, beautiful millwork stone features, and a new sliding barn door for the bathroom.
The property’s redesign centered around a captivating nautical theme. Charming details like shiplap paneling, rope screens, and refined millwork offer a clean and modern aesthetic. In addition, Continental expertly installed custom wall and floor tile throughout the hotel for added flair.
Public spaces were revitalized with fresh amenities. Key enhancements include a new fitness center and upgraded meeting spaces. Additionally, new stone was added to various areas throughout the resort, including the front desk, market place, restaurant, meeting rooms, and fitness center, amplifying the overall aesthetic.
Significant upgrades were also made to the hotel guestrooms. Remodeled bathrooms, as well as updated furnishing and appliances, were installed to improve the overall guest experience. All bathrooms received new vanities and tops, plumbing fixtures, and accessories. Half of the guestroom bathrooms received a tub to shower conversion, completing the comprehensive renovation of this beachfront retreat. The total renovation, begun in September 2023, spanned six floors and was completed in January 2024.
