The Emery Hotel, Marriott Autograph Collection

Minneapolis, MN

BUDGET: $2.2 million
CONTINENTAL TEAM: Yonnatan Arcila (PM), Johnny Nguyen (APM), Jeremiah Livingston (Superintendent), Wafa Issa Glaus (Asst. Superintendent)
OWNER: KHP Capital Partners

This conversion of the 222-room Hotel Minneapolis to the Hotel Emery was one that involved many teams working together on a short schedule. Continental was involved in the full corridor renovation, as well as full finishes on 10 new rooms. A full case and soft goods renovation was done, as well as a replacement of all carpet, vinyl, and paint. Some of the rooms were upgraded to ADA accessible rooms and all existing ADA rooms were examined and brought up to code if necessary.

Other key players in this collaboration were the Minneapolis architecture firm Tushie Montgomery Associates and the Los Angeles-based design firm Studio Mai.
