In February 2023, Continental Contractors began a four-month renovation of the 210 guest rooms and suites, across all three floors of the hotel. Standout features include a new banquette seating area, plush raised beds, and modern amenities throughout. New carpet and luxury vinyl tile contribute to the aesthetic of the Spanish motif. Guest bathrooms have been elevated with the installation of sliding barn doors, marble countertops, tile-lined walk-in showers, and contemporary fixtures. Select guest room baths also include spacious tubs complemented by hacienda design features.
Continental also revitalized multiple outdoor areas and constructed The Mariposa Lawn, the newest addition to Estancia La Jolla’s collection of outdoor spaces. The outdoor transformation not only heightens the aesthetic of the property, but also enhances the overall guest experience. Continental completed the renovation in June 2023.
