This guestroom renovation, just prior to Hurricane Maria’s devastation to the island, was part of a larger $60M re-development project, returning glamour to this iconic property. Continental renovated 388 guestrooms, bungalows and villas including all new showers, reconfigured bathrooms, new patio doors and combined contemporary amenities with the classic luxury the hotel has always been known for. The 2017 project was designed by Jeffrey Beers International and CMA Architects, and was completed in nine months.
