Continental Contractors recently renovated 278 guestrooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Emeryville, a waterfront hotel at the foot of the San Francisco Bay Bridge with breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline and the Oakland/Berkeley Hills. The guestroom renovation included new entry tile, carpet, furniture, and more. The bathrooms also received a facelift with new vanities, tile, and tub to shower conversions. Continental also performed a new build – not very common to hotel renovation projects – of demolishing the public restrooms, meeting spaces, and ballrooms on the 14th floor to construct 23 brand new rooms. This included furnishing and installing a new fire pump and water tank, a new smoke control system, and a new stairwell pressurization system.
