Located minutes away from Los Angeles International Airport and a short drive to the glitz and glamour of LA, the Hotel MdR DoubleTree by Hilton in Marina del Rey, California is the perfect location for both frequent and new travelers to sunny Southern California. Just steps from the beautiful marina, the hotel features a casual yet modern design that perfectly captures that contemporary SoCal vibe.
In 2021/22 Continental Contractors renovated 280 guest rooms spanning five floors of the property. Guestrooms received a complete aesthetic transformation which included new vinyl wall coverings, closet millwork, carpet, vanity tops, and fresh paint. The guest bathrooms were renovated with new shower doors, floor tile, bathroom wall tile, and new bath fixtures and accessories.
In addition to the complete guestroom renovation, Continental provided a refresh to the finishes and FF&E in the public spaces. The outdoor bar/lanai/lobby area is now a bright, airy space with natural tones and tropical elements, drawing on the relaxed coastal vibe of the nearby southern California beaches. The project was completed over the course of two months.
