The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells was designed specifically for guests who seek privacy and space to relax, play, and indulge in tranquility. Reflecting the serene beauty of its desert locale and inspired by the mountain ranges and date farms surrounding the property, the newly renovated guestrooms and corridors combine a neutral color palette and tasteful wood accents with a mid-century modern design.
Continental Contractors began a transformative guestroom renovation in November 2023, elevating the guest experience across 463 rooms, spanning over five floors. Kitchens, wet bars, and coffee bars were upgraded with elegant stone tops. A highlight of the renovation was the arched casings expertly installed in the vestibules within guestrooms, infusing character and charm into the space. Guest bathrooms received upgraded vanities and sinks, new bath accessories, as well as new floor and wall tiles in ADA rooms, enhancing the contemporary decor. Fresh wool carpet and luxury vinyl tile flooring were incorporated into the design, adding to the modern appeal of the aesthetic.
Continental also accented the walls of a selection of villas with slatted wood panels—a unique touch that adds distinctive, original flair to the rooms. Corridor door drops in every room feature elegant wood-grain-patterned vinyl wall coverings, rounding out the sophisticated design. The Continental team finished the transformation with significant painting updates throughout the property to complete the refreshed look.The total renovation spanned seven months and was completed in May 2024.
