With convenient metro access to Washington D.C. and close proximity to in-demand attractions like Wolf Trap National Park, entertainment venues, and National Park Golf Course, the Hyatt Regency Reston combines upscale comfort with the energy of Reston Town Center. Continental Contractors recently completed a comprehensive renovation of the property – refreshing 518 guestrooms and suites across 12 floors, all guest corridors, and the exclusive Regency Club – completed in just six months and aligned with ownership’s long-term goals and Hyatt brand standards.
Throughout the guestrooms and suites, the scope included new carpeting, updated paint, and refined wallcoverings, highlighted by a custom-designed headboard wall in a calming palette of Evergreen Fog, Basil, and Ivory. New wall sconces were installed and paired with completely new case goods to provide a cohesive, modern update with durable, hospitality-ready finishes. Work was carefully coordinated floor by floor to maintain consistency across all rooms and corridors while meeting an accelerated schedule.
Bathrooms were upgraded with new vanities, stone tops, faucets, sinks, and backlit mirrors, bringing a fresh, contemporary feel to the guest experience. Suites received additional enhancements, including luxury vinyl tile installed in a sophisticated herringbone pattern, adding another layer of refinement to select accommodations.
The Regency Club also received a full update with new finishes designed for comfort and style, while targeted ADA upgrades were completed to improve accessibility and bring select accommodations into compliance. The project achieved LEED Silver accreditation as of January 2026, reflecting a commitment to sustainable outcomes alongside a high-quality renovation delivered with efficiency and care.
