During the first phase of 2018/19 updates at the New York Marriott Downtown, Continental Contractors executed a redesign of 509 guestrooms and six suites. A soothing neutral palette and sleek parquet floors recall Old World elegance in tandem with refined details like wall paneling moldings. Sculptural artwork to add greater visual intrigue and depth, and full-length mirrors are equipped with wall hooks to provide added storage, while the stone console tables are crafted with dark bronze metal frame and legs. The renovations also included an update of the Concierge Lounge, which is now designed as a marble-style entry portal.
