Surrounded by panoramic views of the Pacific and just steps from Salt Creek Beach, the property blends timeless elegance with the relaxed vibes of the California coast.
In December 2024, Continental Contractors began work on a comprehensive, multi-phase renovation at the iconic Ritz-Carlton, which included a complete reimagining of the guestrooms and suites. Renovation highlights include: elegantly redesigned bathrooms with luxurious stone tile, custom vanities, high-end fixtures, and spa-inspired showers and tubs. Additional upgrades include finely crafted millwork, refined wall treatments, upgraded lighting, and thoughtfully integrated structural enhancements that contribute to a serene and sophisticated guest experience.
Continental’s transformative work also extended to the exclusive Club Lounge and specialty suites, where elevated finishes and carefully curated design elements further enhance the property’s signature coastal elegance. The spa has been revitalized with a welcoming new front desk, upgraded shower facilities, refreshed locker room vanities, and updated carpet, paint, and wallcoverings – delivering a more tranquil and luxurious ambiance for guests.
The close collaboration between Continental Contractors with ownership, designers, and brand representatives ensured that the transformation of the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel elevated both design and guest experience without compromising on the resort’s celebrated character. The seven-month project was completed in July 2025.
