Located in the heart of Hollywood, California, on iconic Hollywood Blvd., stands the fully reimagined W Hotel. Steps away from the star-studded Walk of Fame and the Capitol Records Building, this prime tourist location offers picture-perfect views of the Hollywood sign and close proximity to famous restaurants, theatres, and a bustling nightlife.
In December 2023, Continental Contractors entered the scene at the W Hollywood to renovate 319 guestrooms and suites, a massive undertaking that included the conversion of the property’s former fourth floor spa into 14 brand new guestrooms. Coupling indulgent relaxation with luxurious design, the finished product showcases a wealth of thoughtful design and reflects the expert craftsmanship and quality installation Continental Contractors brings to every project.
A variety of custom details and elegant touches elevates the overall aesthetic of the space, like fluted wood, glass and mirror paneling, and original millwork pieces. One design highlight includes a stunning ceiling canopy with a radial design and rippled glass light fixture, a feature perfectly accented against beautiful custom vinyl wallcovering. Metallic accents, curved seating areas and oversized window seats, complemented by the cool California color palette of blues, creams, and yellows, complete the inviting ambience throughout each space.
While all renovated areas received custom wallcoverings, luxury vinyl, carpet, fresh paint, and a display of textured and metallic accents, suites were also outfitted with elegant tile, porcelain, and marble. In addition, many of the suites have been enhanced with wood flooring, custom walnut-stained kitchen cabinets complete with fluted glass inserts, wet bars, stone cabinets, millwork closet enhancements, media consoles, desk areas and curved walls that summon guests to relax in a cozy sofa area.
Existing guestroom baths were refreshed with updates, while those in the suites and the 14 newly designed rooms underwent a complete upgrade, ensuring a luxurious experience for all guests. Continental Contractors completed this nine month renovation in September 2024.
