Recognized as a “luxurious mountain lodge in the heart of the American West” on its website, the Four Seasons Jackson Hole is beautifully rustic, quite the opposite of plain. This five-star resort sits nestled in one of Wyoming’s most beautiful valleys, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and in close proximity to Grand Teton National Park.

Continental Contractors had the pleasure of getting to know the people of Jackson Hole  when we visited the mountain town from March to May this year to complete a public space renovation for the property’s Cottonwood Ballroom. The project included renovating the pre-function area and terrace, as well as three meeting rooms and the public restrooms.  “Everyone at the Four Seasons, and the town of Jackson Hole for that matter, treated us like family. It was certainly a breath of fresh air working in such a welcoming town,” said project manager Stephen Safran.

But the rustic and secluded location of the property provided its own set of challenges.  “Logistically, it takes more effort and planning than a project in an urban area,” Stephen said. “When the nearest Home Depot is 100 miles away, you need to come in with your A- game,” which is exactly what Continental Contractors did, executing a quick and beautiful renovation worthy of the breathtaking surroundings and lush accommodations the Four Seasons brand is known for.

The three-month renovation included fresh paint on all walls and ceilings, vinyl wall coverings throughout the space, and custom millwork additions inspired by the property’s rich and verdant surroundings. The restrooms received new custom built vanities with stone tops, new sinks, and faucets.

The impressive Cottonwood Ballroom, decked out in mountain-luxury styling, was updated with new leather panels at the airwalls, a new beveled bronze mirror, and impressive new lighting throughout, which included chandeliers, sconces, and low voltage lighting. New carpet was also installed throughout the ballroom, pre-function area, and all three meeting rooms. All work was completed in May, just in time for wedding season in Jackson Hole!
