Just last month, we finished up work on an inspiring project we started in December: The Whitley Hotel. It was a demanding, exacting, exhilarating project and we were proud to be a part of it all!

The Whitley once featured the Ritz-Carlton’s trademark dark wooden paneling, ornate antique furniture, and heavy draperies. All that is gone in favor of a light, airy, Southern-chic vibe, that maintains the regal atmosphere of the old interior while introducing a more whimsical, light feeling.

The redesign launched with a party last month, and it was a treat to get to see it all finished up and decorated for the event. The Whitley went all out for the party, with models dressed to resemble the large oil paintings on the walls and a Southern jazz/Western swing trio, the VaudeVillians.

Buckhead Coalition President Sam Massell is excited about what the renovation will mean for Buckhead’s future. Massell said, “The Whitley is opening its arms to people of all ages to make this a real hospitality center.”

It takes a great team to do great projects well. We couldn’t have done it without architecture firm Cooper Carry and the designer Parker Torres. Thank you, Whitley, for the opportunity!
