DoubleTree by Hilton, North Redington: A Recipe for Success!
Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the DoubleTree by Hilton, North Redington Beach Resort is a prime tourist destination, conveniently situated on the sandy shores of Florida between Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach near Tampa. The property’s semi-private beach access, cabanas, outdoor pool, and tiki bar offer a relaxing retreat from the grind of daily life, while the abundance of ocean sports and activities provides fun experiences for visiting guests.
Intercontinental Miami Has a Fresh New Look
Known for its Art Deco architecture, vibrant cultures, beautiful beaches, and lively nightlife, it’s no wonder why Miami, Florida is often listed as one of the top ten tourist destinations in the United States. Roughly 26 million people visited Miami in 2022 and the city has continued to see a steady increase in hotel demand across the Magic City over the last few years thanks to high-profile events like the FIFA World Cup and the World Baseball Classic. In 2023, Continental Contractors had the pleasure of orchestrating a massive renovation for one of the city’s most iconic properties, the Intercontinental Miami. The hotel update spanned 13 months, 29 floors, and 652 reimagined luxury guestrooms, suites, and the hotel’s popular Club Lounge.
Going into 2024 Whole and Healthy
In December, Continental Contractors wrapped up our 2023 Whole Health Initiative with a company-wide nutrition webinar. And, while it may seem odd to host an event centered around nutrition during the holidays, it is a crucial component of our team members’ lives given the nature of our business – frequent travel, extended periods away from home, and the absence of personal kitchens. In this digital age, navigating the constant barrage of conflicting dietary advice is challenging. From “eat this, not that,” to claims about foods for longevity, the overwhelming directives often prioritize profit over genuine health considerations – emphasizing once again, the cornerstone to achieving good nutrition is knowledge. Understanding the intricacies of healthy eating is paramount, especially in an era saturated with often conflicting information and messages.
The Jay San Francisco: A Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel
One of the newest additions to Marriott International’s Autograph Collection Hotels, The Jay San Francisco, is located in the middle of the city’s most iconic downtown neighborhoods, with close proximity to many popular attractions like Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, the Embarcadero, Union Square, Golden Gate Bridge, and more. And, as if that wasn’t reason enough to stay in this newly renovated gem, each room features strategically placed, floor-to-ceiling angled windows inviting natural light in while offering breathtaking views of the Bay, historic Coit Tower, and the beautiful downtown skyline.

Continental Contractors has been celebrating 20 years in business this year, and Pete has spent 31 years in the hospitality renovation industry. And, while it may be easy to use numbers to illustrate our/Continental’s progress – close to 700 projects working across the United States into the Caribbean, 20 years in business with multiple offices across the country, over 100,000 guestrooms renovated, and more than $1 billion dollars in revenue – that’s not necessarily how we measure our success as a company. For all of those years our core values of humility, integrity, and heart have led the way.
Grateful for the Opportunity to Give Back
November is National Gratitude Month, which offers us the opportunity to reflect on the causes we’ve had the good fortune of supporting throughout 2023. As we round out our 20th anniversary year, we are humbled by the opportunities, assistance, and wisdom we have gained along the way. We feel extremely grateful to be able to help our community when we can and we look forward to continuing this practice into the new year.
