Continental to the Rescue for Pittsburgh Marriott North

The newly renovated Pittsburgh Marriott North brings the dramatic and extravagant temperament of “the steel city” inside. Nearly unrecognizable from its prior aesthetic, the lobby and atrium remodel transformed this public space from an outdated jungle-like ambience, to the fresh and modern design it is today. Envisioned by Architect/Designer Winegardner & Hammons and executed by Continental Contractors, the impressive focal points of the property express every form and texture that steel can possess: molten, rigid, bent, smooth, rusted, even reflective.

In August 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, Continental completed exciting renovations of public spaces and guestrooms for Hayes Mansion, in San Jose, California. Despite the unique challenges that renovating a historic property can bring, we worked tirelessly to transform this beautiful property.

GRADUATE ANNAPOLIS Hotel Renovation

In October 2019, we completed a hotel renovation in our own back yard (well, practically): Graduate Annapolis. The new hotel is designed with a maritime aesthetic — nautical flags, preppy plaid, sailing knots, bright stripes, and brass. If you are in or around Annapolis, it’s well worth the visit!
